Luke Olin Assistant Coach
Luke Olin is entering his 3rd year as an assistant baseball coach at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Olin graduated from the The College of St. ScholasticaThis link is an external link and will open in a new browser window. with a bachelor's degree in Management, where he also played four years of varsity baseball. Olin's career ended with his highest accomplishment of being named an ABCA All-American third-baseman in 2006.
Coach Morgan and Olin have been on the field together since the summer of 2000 with Olin playing under Coach Morgan on the Duluth Lakeview American Legion team, and four years to follow at St. Scholastica. "Luke is one of the best young hitting instructors in the country. His work ethic is what made him an All-American and he has continued that level of effort with his approach to hitting," Morgan said. Olin is described by his players as, "hard working and fun to be around."
Luke's duties include hitting instruction, outfield position coach, and the coordinator of baseball operations. He is also an Admissions Recruiter for the university. Luke is single and resides in Duluth, MN.

Nick Garramone
Assistant Coach
Nick is entering his 3rd season as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Yellowjackets. He graduated in 2003 from the University of Wisconsin-Superior with a Physical Education Liberal Arts Degree and a double minor in Coaching and Sport Psychology. He played 4 years of varsity baseball while at UW-Superior.
Following his playing career, he has assisted at Duluth DenfeldThis link is an external link and will open in a new browser window. and Proctor High SchoolsThis link is an external link and will open in a new browser window. for 4 seasons and also worked as an American Legion coach with the West Duluth Cubs and Proctor American Legion teams. He was manager of the Bayside VipersThis link is an external link and will open in a new browser window. amateur baseball club from 2002-2006. Nick led Bayside to their first Upper 13 League title in 2006. He was also named the Upper 13 All-Star Manager in 2004 and 2005.
"Nick will be a great head coach in the future. He is an outstanding recruiter and he has a great passion for the student-athlete," Morgan said. Garramone is described by his players as, "passionate, knowledgeable, and easy going."
Nick's duties include recruiting and catchers position coach. He is currently working toward a Masters Degree in Community Counseling and is an admissions counselor for the university. He is single and resides in Superior, WI.

Jason Polikowsky
Assistant Coach
Jason Polikowsky is entering his second year as an assistant baseball coach at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. After a four year career as a player, of which two of them as team captain, Jason is looking forward to making the transition to coaching. While playing at UWS, Jason was team MVP in the 2006 and 2007 seasons, and also Gold Glove recipient in the 2006 season. He also received the Mertz Mortorelli Award for most dedicated male athlete on campus in 2006.
Polikowsky had the privilege of playing under Coach Morgan his senior year and is looking forward to starting a new chapter with him and assisting him in bringing UWS baseball to the top of the WIAC.
Jason will be working with the Yellowjacket corner infielders as well as assist in hitting instruction. “Jason has complete understanding of our system and will be able to bring a lot of his experience as a player to assist our younger players,” Morgan said. Polikowsky is described by his players as, “intense and tough.”
Polikowsky graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from UWS. Jason is single and resides in Superior, WI.
