Little League: This camp is designed for little league players to learn the defensive, hitting and pitching fundamentals that the Yellowjacket players work on throughout the year. There will be a strong emphasis on the foundational skills of playing baseball that are essential for making the Yellowjacket players successful. Players will learn drills and competitions to continue to work on these skills as they get ready for their 2019 season. This camp will include opportunities to work individually with the head coach as well as with current UWS players.

Base Running: This camp will focus on taking the extra base. Yellowjacket Baseball takes great pride in how we run the bases. We strongly believe our ability to run the bases well sets us apart from other college programs. Camp will provide instruction on running after putting the ball in play, advancing on balls put in play, reading the defense, reading the flight of the baseball, different techniques for stealing, and more base running techniques. In the last two seasons, under Coach Pufall, we have stolen 147 bases which is more than the previous 4 years combined. This camp will include opportunities to work individually with the head coach as well as with current UWS players.

Hitting, Infield & Outfield: This camp is designed for players age 13-15 to focus on improving their individual skill set both with hitting and at specific defensive positions. Participants will learn the drills that the Yellowjackets use to be one of the top offensive teams in the nation (top 10% in the country for NCAA D3 in Batting Average, Slugging %, HR/game in 2018). In addition participants will learn skills and drills to enhance their defensive ability at specific positions. This camp will include opportunities to work individually with the head coach as well as with current UWS players.

Pitching & Catching Camp: This camp is designed for players age 13-15 to focus on improving their individual skill set in the specific positions of pitching and catching. This camp will give participants a deep knowledge about the skills and mentality required by the catching and pitching positions. Pitches will focus on arm care, pitch execution, routines, competing, and controlling the running game. Catchers will focus on receiving, blocking, controlling the running game, calling pitches, handling the pitching staff, and being a vocal leader. This camp will include opportunities to work individually with the head coach as well as with current UWS players.

High School Holiday Camp: This camp is designed for high school players to get a sense of what it is like to be a college baseball player. The camp will be designed like a Yellowjacket field house practice. Participants will gain knowledge about how a college practice flows, as well as all of the different areas that are covered during one practice (such as individual defensive work, hitting, team defense, pre-game, competitions). Participants will also be given individual feedback on skills they can focus on for improvement and drills that will help them get ready for their 2019 season. Additionally, this camp will include opportunities to work individually with the head coach as well as with current UWS players.

Refund Policy:
